Here at Running Amuck! we are starting a whole new vibe.  Time to get back to our roots as crazy, unrestricted adolescents.  Clearly, we are not adolescents anymore, but that is not going to stop us from trying to “think” like one (yeah, teenagers don’t have a brain, therefore it is not possible for them to think…WE KNOW).

But, I digress.  Let’s talk about what a lot of teenage mutant retards are talking about today…finding files on newsgroups.

Yeah, a lot can be said about how the usenet is the last bastion of the real internet….I can dig it. But, let’s be honest, most kids are not looking to strike up a conversation about how to best propagate blue bonnets or find out how to confit a pork roast. The reality is, most of these pranksters are looking for file downloading possibilities.  I don’t condone it, but at the end of the day, there are a lot of things that I don’t condone that teenage monkeys are doing every day. What else is new.
